Christmas Card Workshop - only 10 spaces left!

Have you registered for the Christmas Card Workshop yet?  If not, you need to do so quickly as we only have 10 spots left!

This year's event will be held on Saturday November 5th, at the Winchester Golf Club in Brooklin ON.  We'll be there from 10am-4pm, and you can come at your leisure to stamp your cards.  You just need about 2 hours to finish them all.

What's the fee to register?

Registration is $35, and you must register with payment ASAP.  

This a great way to create some beautiful seasonal cards, and learn some more about stamping.  The only thing you need to bring is adhesive!

Christmas Lodge Scrapfest Make & Take Project

Scrapfest was held in Oshawa this past weekend, and we had an outstanding time!  Our booth saw a lot of traffic, and we met some wonderful people.

We featured a Christmas Make & Take project at the booth using the fabulous Christmas Lodge stamp set, and while not everyone had the opportunity to stamp the project, we wanted to make it available to as many people as possible.

September has arrived, and it's time to announce that registration has opened for our 5th annual Christmas Card Workshop.  It will be held on Saturday November 5th, at the Winchester Golf Club in Brooklin ON.

Registration for Scrapfest in Oshawa has opened online!  This year's even takes place at Durham College on Friday October 14, and Saturday October 15th.

Colleen Weddell and I had a booth at last year's event, and we're really excited to announce that we'll be back again this year with some awesome stamping things in our booth, and a wonderful holiday Make & Take project.

Christmas in August - Just Because We Can!

Yes, we're back for more Christmas Cards.  I'm surrounded by them already, and it's only August!

We're going to get together on Wednesday, August 17th to make Christmas Cards.  For the second month in a row, we're working together in an effort to help you (and me!) get the jump on creating your own cards this year.  These will be different from those that we completed in July, and all cards under wraps until we get closer to the holiday season.

Date:  Wednesday, August 17th

Time:  7:30pm

Class Fee:  $20 - includes all materials & envelopes. 

It's a BYO adhesive evening, so please make sure that you bring your SNAIL, or other adhesive. 

E-mail now to reserve your spot, or give me a call at 905-655-9347.  If you can't make it, keep your eyes peeled for the details about our Christmas Card Workshop on Saturday, November 5th.  We will be releasing these in early September, and you'll want to sign-up early because we ALWAYS sell out with a waiting list.

Don't forget - my second batch of Summer Stamp Clubs are on Monday August 22nd and Thursday the 25th.  I'd love to see you one at one of these club nights.  Class fee is $15, which will be waived if you place a $25 order.  It's a great chance to see what stamp club is all about, without the regular commitment.  E-mail me to save your spot!

July Stamp Club - Next Monday & Thursday!

Just a quick note today (without pictures because they're all on my laptop, which is currently downloading the latest OS update, so I'm on my mother-in-law's laptop instead) to remind everyone that my July Stamp Clubs are next week.

Stamp Club in July & August is open to everyone - in September they will only be open to those that sign-up for the club. 

The class fee is $15, which is waived if you make a $25 purchase at the club.

We will be creating Stamp Club quality projects, and you will leave with a taste for the types of projects that we normally create at our club nights.

Club nights are Monday, July 25th or Thursday, July 28th at 7:30pm.  We meet at my house - please let me know if you need directions.

Buck-a-Card Combined with a New Catalogue Open House

I mentioned last night that I added a few things to my stamping calendar for the summer.  First up is my New Catalogue Open House, combined with some Buck-a-Card cardmaking. 

There are two separate components to this - feel free to do one or the other, or even both!  Come on over to the Open House, pick up your 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue, and create a card using a brand new stamp set - all for free!  There will be special promotions that afternoon, and maybe even a surprise or two.

In the same room (but at a different table) will be my Buck-a-Card cardmaking stash.  All of my retired card fronts will be available to look through.  Choose the ones you want, and I'll cut the co-ordinating cardstock to create full cards.  The cost is $1/card, not including envelopes (these will be available for purchase).  All you need to bring is adhesive!

Date:  Saturday, July 9th

Time:  1pm-5pm

Location:  2 Tavistock Avenue, Brooklin, ON

Woodland Walk - a Digital Scrapbook Page

I completed a digital scrapbook page this evening for a friend using My Digital Studio, and the Woodland Walk download.  Her son recently had a birthday party where the centrepiece was a Darth Vader pinata.  She's not a scrapbooker, so I offered to put something together for her as a momento of the day.

As she is quite private, I stripped the photographs & journalling from the page.  However, here is the layout that I used for her page.

 

Tomorrow I'll be preparing for Sunday afternoon's Sale-a-Bration Open House and Retirement Sale.  I'll also make sure that we have everything ready for tomorrow evening's birthday sleepover for a bunch of 10 and 11 year old boys.

Today has not been a great day in the Fee household.  We're dealing with some big issues at the moment, and it looks like I'm going to have to have the vet put my cat down tomorrow.  As you can imagine, I'm not feeling that emotionally stable at the moment. 

I'm also trying to get my house completely back in order after this past weekend's party.  There were 100 people here celebrating SuperBowl Sunday, and the state of our house took a bit of a hit.  I'm still trying to figure out how the Doritos ended up in the second floor hallway.
