The last wedding invitation sitting on my shelves is this one. I pulled most of the elements for this design from a card sample that I have in a folder on my desktop. I'm rather surprised I found the picture, as there are LOTS of photos in that file!
I used the Big Shot to dry emboss the section of Basic Gray paper that is on the left side of the invite, and added a knotted piece of black satin ribbon at the point where the paper merges. There are two small pearls sitting in the middle of the dry embossed pattern. They fit perfectly into the indent of the pattern.
The reply card is a smaller version of the invitation, with the thin taffeta rribbon as the satin is just too wide. I haven't knotted it - the ribbon is too thin to hide the seam if it was.
Don't forget... this coming Sunday is my Sale-a-Bration Open House and Retirement Sale. Come on out between 2pm and 5pm to shop for retired stamps, paper & accessories, and order some new product at the same time to receive even more fun stuff at a discount. Check out the details HERE.
Happy Stamping!
