Advent Calendar Class - Sunday, November 13th

Many people have looked at and have fallen in love with the Advent Calendar that is featured in the Holiday Mini Catalogue.  However, the amount of work involved with the design and cutting of the calendar is rather daunting, so they have simply moved on and forgotten about it.

What if all of the design, sizing and cutting was done for you?  This is what the Advent Calendar class is all about!

For $35, you can come out to my house at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon and create your calendar.  Almost all of the pieces will be cut for you - you just need to stamp, cut a few last pieces, and assemble your calendar.  This will be a very intense class, as there will still be a lot of work to complete, but at the end of class you will have a 12x12 Advent Calendar that you can frame in a 12x12 frame or shadowbox (not included in the class fee).

To sign-up for the class, simply send me a quick e-mail or give me a call at 905-655-9347 to save your spot.  Payment will be required before I sit down to cut the pieces of the calendar.

If you're too far away to come to the class but still want to create an Advent Calendar, I can send all of the pieces to you (not including the 12x12 base sheet or the stamped images) for $35.  You will have most of the items required to create a calendar that you'll be proud of.  Order the 25 and Counting stamp set and you will be able to recreate the calendar that's above.

Kindness Matters Class Registration Closes Today!

Today is the last day to register for the 'Kindness Matters' class on September 26th and ensure that your stamps arrive on time for the class.

We will be creating the cards in the photograph above.  The class fee is $30 for Clear Mount stamps, and $35 for Wood Mount stamps.

Kindness Matters Class - September 26th

Ah, the first day of school has come and gone.  I would love to say that I was hugely productive today, because there was silence in the house, but that totally wasn't the case.  I spent the morning doing... nothing, and the afternoon at the grocery store (along with a whole pile of other moms).  I'm back at it this evening, and as promised, here are the details about this month's 'Kindness Matters' class.  

We will be creating four different cards using just the Kindness Matters stamp set from the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue - no other stamps.  The class samples are below, and each are easy to create, with a bit of a wow factor.  The class fee this month includes the stamp set, which you will receive on the night of the class (provided you RSVP by Wednesday, September 14th).

Date:  Monday, September 26th

Time:  9:15am OR 7:30pm

Class Fee:  $30 for clear mount stamps; $35 for wood mount (includes envelopes)

Please RSVP by Wednesday, September 14th to save your spot.  You will be able to mount your stamps at the start of class, and take them home once you finish.  The only thing that you will need to bring is adhesive.

Do you love to stamp?

Do you love to chat with other people?

Do you have a wishlist of Stampin' Up! products that you can't wait to get your hands on?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you need to join one of my Monthly Stamp Clubs!

Stamp club members create three projects each month, showcasing new stamping techniques, or products from the catalogues.  Occasionally we will create something a little different, just for fun.

Each club member is required to commit to coming to the club for 10 months (September-June), and making a $25 purchase each month (before tax & shipping).  

Hostess benefits rotate through the 10 members of the club, guaranteeing that you will receive at least $35 in free product in the month that you are the hostess.  Hostesses that bring in outside orders of $100+ during their month will receive an extra inkpad as well as at least $55 in free product.

We meet once a month at my house in Brooklin (north Whitby), generally in the 3rd week of the month. Club times are as follows:

• Mondays at 9:15am (starting September 19th) 
• Mondays at 7:30pm (starting September 19th)
• Thursdays at 7:30pm (starting September 22nd)

Christmas in July Class - next Monday

Christmas in July you ask?  Why not! 

We're going to get together next Monday evening to make Christmas Cards.  Why?  Because we can.  This month's class is all about Christmas, in an effort to help you get the jump on creating your own cards this year.

Date:  Monday, July 18th

Time:  7:30pm

Class Fee:  $20 - includes all materials & envelopes. 

It's a BYO adhesive evening, so please make sure that you bring your SNAIL, or other adhesive. 

The class is already more than half full, so e-mail now to reserve your spot, or give me a call at 905-655-9347.  If you can't make it, there will be a second class on August 17th, complete with different cards!

Don't forget - my Summer Stamp Clubs are on Monday July 25th and Thursday 28th.  I'd love to see you one at one of these club nights.  Class fee is $15, which will be waived if you place a $25 order.  It's a great chance to see what stamp club is all about, without the regular commitment.  E-mail me to save your spot!

Take a Spin with a bunch of Stars

Hello my snow-covered friends.  I'd love to say that I've got something new for you that I created this afternoon, but I was shoveling snow.  The snowplow came past our house three times today.  Ugh.  I'm now really tired, and I think I rediscovered a few muscles today.

So, here's one of the cards that we created at my Take a Spin class on Monday.  The original design for this card comes from Mary Brown, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator south of the border.  It's a fun card, and I'm hoping to recreate it next week using hearts and pink.  Something a little more girly.

Mom & Me Valentine's Class - Sunday, January 30th!

We're getting together on Sunday afternoon to do some Mom & Me Valentine's stamping.  Kids love Valentine's Day, and we're creating three projects that all have lots of red, white, pink and hearts on them.

Here's a sneak peek at one of the projects your child will create - with a bit of help from Mom of course :)

Take a Spin Card Class - Join us on Monday, January 31st

Have you seen the new Take a Spin stamp set in the Occasions Mini catalogue?  It's a fun set that you can combine with Game Spinner Hands to create some very unique spinner cards.

My January class is next Monday, January 31st.  Come and make 4 of these fun cards for $20.  The class fee includes all of the paper, Game Spinner Hands, envelopes, and ribbon.  All you need to bring is adhesive. 

Two of the cards that we'll be creating are below:  The others are super stealthy and secret, and won't be revealed until the day of the class.  All I can tell you is that we're using all four of the stamps from the set.

Candy Cane Votives Class - November 22nd

I have two classes scheduled in November, just in time to help you finish off some decorating and wrapping before the holidays.

The first class is my Christmas Votives Class on Monday, November 22nd.  We will be making 3 Votive Candle holders using the Candy Cane Christmas Specialty paper, stamps, and ribbon. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The class fee for this class is $20, and includes everything to make these three candle holders - including adhesive!  You will also receive the PDF instructions on how to recreate these candle holders at home.
