Valentine's Day is fast approaching. This is a quick, sparkly project that can be easily put together for someone special - and it hides chocolate! It was the last embossing project completed by my Stamp Club this month, and in a couple of cases, the chocolate never made it inside the folder!
Since it is Valentine's Day, there is lots of red on this folder - Real Red. The heart images all come from I (Heart) Hearts - don't forget that each purchase of this set before February 28th will result in $2 being donated to the American Red Cross for Haitian relief.
The glitter on the sparkly heart is adhered using a Heat Tool and Heat & Stick Powder. If you've never tried this method of adhering glitter to a project, you are missing out. It is an excellent way to add a shot of bling, and the glitter really sticks!
Don't forget... I am hosting a traditional workshop at my home on Friday evening (January 29th). Come and make 3 cards using Sale-a-Bration and Occasions Mini products and stamps. Be one of the first to try our Clear Mount Blocks! Class fee is $15, and start time is 7:30pm. Call me at 905-655-9347 or e-mail me at wendy@wendyslittleinklings.com to register.
The Mom & Me Valentine's Class has been rescheduled to Sunday, January 31st. If you're interested in coming, let me know! Class fee is $15, start time is 2pm, and we'll be making 30 Valentines. They have been slightly redesigned to add more sparkle and colour to them - your kids will LOVE them!
Register now to save your spot in either class!
Tomorrow I'll tell you what my favourite stamp set is... stay tuned to see which one it is.
Happy stamping!
