Circle Circus... meet Tres Chic!

When I was sorting through my pile of swap cards that I received recently, this one stood out.  It was created by Pat Howell-Blackmore, and uses two popular stamp sets - Circle Circus and Tres Chic.

I don't think that I've ever used Tres Chic on a card.  I use it on my tiles when making tile coasters, but I love the way that it's been stamped on this card, surrounded by circles.  The colour combination is very striking!  The pink has been mounted onto a Basic Black cardbase, something that's next to impossible to see when I've photographed the card against a black background!  See?  Taking photos at 10pm never pays off :)

I'm still on vacation, up at my mother-in-law's house, trying to get a bunch of stuff done before next week's big Stampin' meeting in Burlington.  With any luck I'll be able to take some photos and load them early next week - after my kids are back in school!  My daughter starts kindergarten in 2 weeks, and for the first time in 4 years I'll have the house to myself every morning for almost 4 hours.  My husband tried to tell me yesterday that after a couple of days I'll go crazy in the silence.  Haaaaa!!!!  Can you hear my maniacal laughter?  Yup.  That's SOOO not going to happen.
