As part of the "birthday party weekend", my other son is heading off to a party today for a 7 year old girl. Woo! It's not often that I get to make girl kiddie birthday cards!!!
I was messing around on Thursday afternoon, and decided to make her a shaker card, with sprinkles that are in my kitchen cabinets. The only real problem with that is that the foam that I used to create the space around the cupcake wasn't quite high enough, and a few of the sprinkles got stuck!!! Next time I'll use thicker foam, or a double layer of it.
The sentiment for this card comes from On Your Birthday, and the cupcake is from Party Hearty. I've got another shaker card to post, but I need to give it to my friend before she sees it online :)
